In TCV School Chauntra we have Three Volunteer Groups, all these Groups has there
own Focus area to Perform.All These Group are formed by Students itself, (accept Recycle club)and there contribution towards the school is very big,these group are very dedicated towards there work and make our school a very Happy place to live.
3.RECYCLE CLUB
Our group The “SA BON GAY PA” was founded in 10/DEC/2007.On the Day The Noble Peace Prize was awarded to H.H the 14th Dalai Lama.We hope our group can Contribute Something to help our school. The Meaning of our group is Nourishing Future seeds of Tibet. In the world the children’s are considered as the future seed of their own country.So,it is important to preserve and well nourish the seeds to build a strong nation.
Aim of our Group
- To Set good example to our school students and inspire them to be thoughtful responsible towards the school community and global as a whole.
- To save our earth from the global warming problems by planting more trees.
- To make our school look clean and beautiful and a greenery place to live.
All the members of our group have collected our own opinions and suggestions for the success of our groupwork. And also we are happy to do our work together with good cooperation among the group members.
All of our group members are very hard working and faithful in doing every work. In our group we don’t have any discrimination between boys and girls on any work. So in total we have 35 students as our members.
We pray and hope that our mates will get inspire from us and form more groups and contribute something for the community and society

It was in 2006 the idea has come to our mind to Form a volunteer group. But it was at the end of the year and we couldn’t get successed The idea was given by our ex class x student Gonpo choephel.and the name of the group was given by him as LAGYA which in Tibetan means Stongly bounded relation between any two or more persons.
Just the next year in 2007 during the first term we could really fuction as our dream came true.
The aim of the group
It was oftenly seen that the teachers are facing a lot of problems to decorate the hall for any function or programs therefore the feeling has come in us to help our kindful teachers by giving our hands in the school hall any time. To work in the school hall is our choice but we do any work if our school ask and which are helpful to improve our school.
Member
We have 23 members among them two are Group Leader,who are democratically elected by the members through voting system. These two heads are to be changed in one term in a year. So that the numbers of students can get the opportunity to learn to take the responsibility .
A message from the group
As his holiness the dalai lama says,”we are lucky to be breathing here on this earth which is a great opportunity to make our time useful” We feel that anyway we have to spend our time wisely till our death comes and during this time it will be a grateful if we the children’s of this earth could do some good things and make our energies a very purposeful one.
